Level 5: Big Tides, Crossings, and Leadership-Level Judgement
Level 5 is for experienced paddlers who want to operate in complex, demanding environments. Expect long days, serious planning, and conditions where decisions matter. You will train advanced navigation, crossings, strong tide races, and high-reliability safety systems, with constant attention on risk management and team performance. This level is about capability, consistency, and calm competence when things get spicy.

Following on from our “Master the tides” week, here we learn to plan and paddle in faster flowing water. We look at the planning and the tactics of paddling in fast tides as well as managing crossings in tidal waters.
Brittany: Tide Races, Surf & Swell
This is dynamic paddling at it's best in one of the most amazing sea kayak locations that exist. You'll learn to play in some of mother nature's most exciting playgrounds and focus on and develop the skills needed to handle advanced conditions out on the ocean.
