We’re passionate about paddling and want to share that passion with others. With our base on the stunning Lake Brienz, we offer a welcoming meeting point for anyone interested in paddle sports. Through close collaboration with the local Kanuklub Berner Oberland and the support of the Swiss Canoe Association, we aim to bring together as many sea kayak enthusiasts as possible—creating more shared moments on the water.

With each newsletter we will try to send you a moment of “outdoor feeling” on your screen, to take you away from everyday life on a little journey.
We want to create content that inspires and share with you what is close to our hearts. The love of nature and the love of paddling.

For regular paddling trips during the week there is an extra Whatsapp Chat for members of Kanu Klub Berner Oberland.

Our annual rental offers you the possibility to go paddling with a seakayak or surfski all year round, whenever you want. In summer we are on site every day and outside opening hours, or when noone is here, there is an external rental station accessible 24/7. The annual rental is for a calendar year, starts in Jan and ends on 31 December. A prerequisite is that you know the rescue techniques in/with the boat. The Canoe Club Berner Oberland and the Swiss Canoe Association are close cooperation partners of Hightide. Together we try to promote the sport of paddling, offer regular training sessions, promote children’s and youth sports and introduce as many people as possible to the world of paddling.
