Level 4: Tidecraft and Advanced Journey Skills
Level 4 introduces the skills that make coastal kayaking truly three-dimensional. You will learn how tides shape the coastline, how to plan around tidal streams, and how to manage more committing journeys. The focus shifts to advanced seamanship: refined boat handling in rougher water, robust rescues, and sharper judgement under pressure. If Level 3 is touring competence, Level 4 is confident coastal travel.
