Head Kayak Guide & Coach (m/f/d) at Hightide Kayak School in Bönigen/Interlaken

● Leading the guide team and overseeing day-to-day operations at the base.
● Maintaining quality and safety standards amongst the team
● Delivering staff training and supporting less experienced members of staff
● Delivering coaching courses
● Leading kayak tours and courses on Lake Brienz independently, throughout both summer and winter seasons.
● Welcoming and providing excellent care for our guests, whether they are beginners or experienced paddlers.
● Promoting our company values and ethos amongst the team and with guests and leading by example.
● Joint management and coordination amongst the senior staff.

● Paddle UK / (British Canoeing) Sea Leader certification or equivalent qualification.
● Experience as a kayak guide/coach.
● Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
● A passion for working with people
● A passion for kayaking, with the commitment to continual development and getting out in all conditions throughout the year.
● A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude, able to stay calm and solution-focused in challenging situations.
● Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
