This experience was unreal… breathtaking views of the mountains from a crystal clear turquoise lake. I mean! Our guide, Sylvana, was the nicest, most relaxed guide we could have asked for. Just the kindest, most down to earth people ever. The kayaks were easy to maneuver and comfortable and the view was the most spectacular thing we’ve ever seen. Sylvana showed us some quick kayaking tricks as we rode along and she was so easy to be around. As an added and unexpected bonus, she took wonderful photos of us on the water with her digital camera. We’re so grateful to the entire staff at High Tide for making it so memorable. 10/10 recommend!

As usual, had a great time with Hightide. They never disappoint with their professionalism, responsiveness to the needs of paddlers and they are always good for a laugh. Highly recommended!

We booked the 3 hour ‘Summer kayak tour’ on what turned out to be a cool drizzly morning in July. The three of us were all a bit reluctant when we saw the weather, but were so glad we went ahead. Our tour leader, Karel, was charming, proficient and had thought of everything, even whisking out a box of biscuits when we had our break! For us as beginners, the tour length was exactly right. Just some points to note: All equipment including wetsuits was provided, and seemed good quality. There was ample parking – you can pay with cash or credit card. Large lockers are provided for leaving valuables. We didn’t need to take our phones with us in the kayaks as our tour leader took photos and emailed them the same day. Overall a really top rate experience, thank you!

As a complete stranger to kayaking I did not expect this amount of progress I made in the course of a single day, the topics were carefully selected and built on top of each other, the instructor was easy going and relaxed, without making any compromises to safety.

Sean was great, with a good explanation, pace and great chat. We were lucky with the weather that we had the lake to ourselves. We also stayed for a lunch and a drink on their terrasse which was also really good. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience, our highlight from visiting Interlaken. Suitable for non-swimmers. They have a nice cafe/restaurant also onsite to have food after the tour.

Spent great time with Ben! Even though it was raining, the weather didn’t spoil any experience and the whole trip exceeded our expectations! Our guide Ben was extremely nice, helpful, professional and hospitable! Moreover, they provided us with all equipment including raining coats and so on. In the end we’ve got the photos immediately 🙂

We had a really nice experience even despite the weather (it was windy and a bit rainy). We were provided with all the necessary equipment and Silvana was really kind and able to adjust to our level and to the weather conditions. Lake Brienz is simply beautiful and observing it from the water, surrounded by nature and in total silence is something to try.

Sean was excellent, providing great guidance and support!!! We even made a short stop for swimming, which was totally refreshing! I will definitely go back again!!!!

I’ve been to a half-day tour in English, and as somebody with zero kayaking experience before I could not have been happier with the outcome 🙂 I really liked the detailed preparation instructions sent by the school. On the day of the tour we were offered wet suits to be more comfy while swimming in the fresh waters of the lake, and our guide was very attentive and helpful when we faced any issues – be it correction of the rowing technique or adjusting the boat seat.

If I could give it higher than 5 stars I would!! We absolutely enjoyed every minute of it & Karel & Maria were amazing tour guides with buzzing personalities. It’s an experience you’ll never forget. They even take photos for you & brought cookies to the middle of the lake!!…

Karel was a great guide and even brought us a snack! He was nice and professional. The equipment was clean and perfect. Everything was so easy and went smoothly. The experience was unforgettable and was really worth it.

Absolutely amazing experience! Karel and Jolien were so fun and knowledgeable! The views were breathtaking and the photos we received at the end definitely captured the beauty! We were able to take a dip in the lake which was a tad chilly but also refreshing during the sunny day! The homemade cookies Jolien baked for us were a pleasant treat and we enjoyed them while playfully quizzing Karel on the heights of each peak. 11/10 would recommend! Definitely coming back in the wintertime to see the different landscape! #boatarms
