For many years I was living in my favourite city and home of choice in Frankfurt am Main. If I was not there sitting in the office, strolling around the streets, drinking coffee or enjoying the international and vibrant life I was living my passion and traveling in a campervan through Canada, New Zealand or Norway.
2014 I discovered the beauty of the paddlesport while exploring the lakes of Sweden in a canoe and rushing down the river Soča in Slovenia in my little white water river kayak. My decision to apply at Hightide fell then on the Lofoten islands in Norway while exploring the fjords in rain, wind and snowstorms and always in the hope of seeing Orcas out of the kayak.
Since January 2021 I am now a team member of Hightide as a Kayak Trainee and Lead Admin. For the first time I can combine my passion for organising, for fresh air and being outdoors at the same time. It is awesome being part of a team that shares their passion for kayaking and loves to give this joy back to the guests.
In Interlaken I can live my adventurous life every day. But it’s a pity that I won’t find Orcas in Lake Brienz. 😉
