A two day course designed to introduce you to the thrills and spills of white water. Safety is our top priority and second is that you have a memorable, enjoyable and inspiring first experience of alpine white water kayaking. You’ll learn about suitable clothing and equipment, safety & self rescue and the foundation white water skills and by the end of the day you will have tackled your first white water river. Our aim is to give you an exciting first taste and increase your confidence in this new exciting environment, being able to break in, self rescue, surf small waves and get the most out of the river experience.

Confident swimmer, some flatwater kayaking experience, positive attitude.
Experienced White Water coach, small group ratios, top quality equipment including neoprenes and jackets
Swimming clothes, sunglasses, sunhat, suncream, closed footwear that you can get wet (no flip flops), change of clothes, lunch, drinks and snacks

Please note that our courses and tours run in all weather that is safe for us to paddle in. Often the weather is better than predicted and part of the charm of our sport is experiencing nature with all its faces and even on a rainy day, the views and atmosphere can be beautiful and dramatic. We pride ourselves on having top quality equipment, including Palm longjohn wetsuits and high end paddle jackets to ensure you’re warm and happy whatever the weather. If conditions are unsafe to paddle in we will notify with as much notice as we can.
