Once you have had some experience on our tide race courses, this course explores the differences between short and long boats. We look at all the necessary river running skills and can award the British Canoeing White Water award to those able to fulfiul the syllabus requirements. This involves safetely paddling grade 2 rivers, able to ferry glide, break in and out and surf small waves. The White Water Award is the recognition of being an intermediate paddlers about to paddle with a led group on grade II water.
