Our “Swiss Lake Day Tours” are aimed at those who have paddled a little before. The day tours enable you to explore some of the most beautiful corners of Switzerland whilst further developing your kayaking skills.
Our mountain lake tour on Brienzersee, or `Lake Brienz` as it is known in English, really highlights what our region has to offer. Starting at Brienz, travelling on the south shore to the famous Giessbach falls and onwards to Iseltwald, we visit the Schnäggeninseli (Snail Island) and the peninsular with the Seeburg Centre at its pinnacle. This pretty village makes the perfect stop for lunch and a coffee before setting off across to the north shore of the lake to visit the cliffs of Ringgenberg and views of the 12th century castle above before crossing over the mouth of the Aare and Lütschine to reach our end point in Bönigen.
The session starts at 9.15am and ends at 4.15pm. Should you have any further requests or require additional information please feel free to contact us.

Please note that our courses and tours run in all weather conditions provided that it is safe to paddle. Often the weather is better than forecast and part of the charm of our sport is experiencing nature in all the elements - even on a rainy day, the views and atmosphere are beautiful and dramatic. We pride ourselves on having top quality equipment, including Palm wetsuits and high-end paddle jackets to ensure that you are warm and happy whatever the weather. If conditions are unsafe to paddle in we aim to notify you as soon as the decision has been made and we will try to re-schedule for the soonest opportunity.
Please note that bookings are subject to our terms and conditions and cancellation policy. We recommend that you have an insurance policy to cover the course costs in case of illness or medical problems. Swiss residents can purchase annual AXA cancellation insurance at the time of booking.
